An amazing Easter...and big changes for the Lawrence Family!

For Easter Break we decided to head up north to Salt Lake City because Skyler's parents were going to be there for Conference.  My Aunt Tracy and her family were out of town and they graciously allowed us to stay at their home in Highland.  We went up Friday night for Skyler's mission reunion.  On Saturday afternoon we took the three older kids to Conference (Kiarah was so nice to come and stayed with the three littlest ones in Skyler's parents hotel during the session).
We knew some big changes were going to happen at Conference that day.  Although Skyler's parents were not able to tell us before hand, Skyler figured it out about a week earlier.......sure enough, Skyler's dad was called into the second Quorum of the Seventy at the afternoon session.  What a surreal experience to watch him go up and take his place on the stand with the Twelve and the other Seventy.

Grandpa and the boys right after the afternoon session.

They will be heading back to Russia at the beginning of August (probably for three years) where he will serve as the First Counselor in the Eastern Europe Area Presidency.  We will miss them dearly, but we are all very excited for them and know they are going where they are needed.

Cute cousins playing on the stairs at the Conference Center.

The next morning was Easter and we woke up to about three inches of SNOW!
The kids were so excited!  They quickly searched for their baskets and checked out their loot.....
...and then bundled up and ran out to the snow!
They have never been able to build a snowman on Easter before!

They decided to give it an Easter touch....nice ears!

That afternoon we headed back up to SLC and spent the evening with Grandma and Grandpa!  What an amazing Easter weekend  - we are sure to never forget this one!

These are a few pictures from the Easter Egg hunt at Grandma Cox's the week before Easter!

Our friend Lisa Seegmiller and her daughter Elisabeth Felice joined us for dinner and the Hunt.
Mack loved looking for the eggs. He had no interest in the candy!
