Once in a lifetime...

Last week I had the most wonderful opportunity to go on a Western Caribbean cruise with my Mom and all 3 of her sisters! (My amazing husband balanced work and kids all week so I could go - and the house was clean when I got home! How awesome is that!) My mom and her sisters have never been on a trip together - hopefully this will start a new tradition for them. I learned so much about each of them, and I loved every minute of it!  There was never a dull moment, and I don't think we ever went to bed before 1 or 2 in the morning!  I was dubbed the 'chaperon' for these wild women.  It was a hard job, but someone had to do it!
We had fun dressing up and seeing the shows. And of coarse, we ate way too much -  creme brulee quickly became the favorite (we ate it everyday - I am going through withdrawals)! Yum!
We had a wonderful time hanging out on the beaches and snorkeling at the different port stops.  We were able to visit Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Costa Maya (which had just been hit by Tropical Storm Karl the day before - there were uprooted palm trees and debris all over - but it was still a great day) and Roatan, Honduras (this was our favorite stop, so beautiful - it's reef is second only to the Great Barrier Reef - great snorkeling)!
Thanks ladies for an absolutely unforgettable week!
I Love You All!

Picture Day and Polka Dots

Taly had pictures today at school.  She looked so cute :) and grown up :( , I had to take a picture.
As I was doing her hair, she realized that we were both covered in polka dots! My pajamas, toes, and her shirt all matched!
Maybe I like black and white polka dots a little too much!

Cort's Arrow of Light

Still trying to catch up on all the latest happenings.....

A few weeks ago Cort finally received his Arrow of Light!  He earned it quite a while ago, but with the ward split and the busy summer, we had to put it off for awhile.  It's hard to believe how fast my boys are growing up!
Great job Cort - We are so proud of you!

Stott Reunion

Skyler's Grandma rented a large cabin on Cedar Mountain for a few days in August.  We had a great time getting better acquainted with Skyler's Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.  Many of Sky's cousins have kids that match up in age with my younger kids, so they loved making new friends! It was so beautiful up there.  We enjoyed walking around and loved the cool mountain air.

One of the highlights of the weekend was the family dance!  Trey and Bo were in high demand since they were outnumbered by all the darling little girls!
Sky and Bo both got a chance to dance with Grandma.
Thanks for a great weekend, Grandma!

Carlsbad

The first week of August, we made our traditional run to Carlsbad for a week at Grandma's timeshare.  The kids look forward to it all year long.  This year, we were joined by Grandma (of coarse), Trina and Spencer and their kids, Kiarah and her kids, and later that week Kenz and  Jeremy came by for a couple of days!

We spent one day at Belmont park, having fun on the rides and eating by the bay.

Mack wasn't so sure about the Merry-go-round!
Gavin convinced Trina to go with him on the CHAOS! I got dizzy just watching them.

What a fun trip! Can't wait to go again!
