Shoes...

During one of my typical, crazy days of running kids here and there - enduring my new found career in taxi driving - I finally made my way to my last stop, the grocery store.  Unfortunately, I soon realized that I had NO SHOES!  How this happened, I'm not sure.  Although, those who know me well know that I am often running around without shoes on - but not at the grocery store!  Determined that I was not going to drive all the way home for a measly pair of shoes, I thoroughly combed the car in search of any shoes at all.  With as much stuff as there usually is in our van, I was sure I could find something. There was one pair of shoes in the car - My six year old son's soccer cleats!

Not too bad from this angle, right?
From this angle , however......
Can you see why my feet were KILLING me by the time I was done shopping?   Lesson learned......painfully!

  1. OH Kyla! That is so funny! Iam surprised I have never done that. Usually at least one of my kids doesn't have shoes on though! I had to borrow a pair for Hadley from Josh's piano teacher once so we could go to the library while he had his lesson!

  2. That is awesome! I can kind of relate. I wore two different shoes to my doctor's appointment this morning. I realized while the nurse was asking me a question and I just started laughing so I had to confess. She got a good laugh too. Welcome to motherhood right?
